This week's live call in guest is NDLDJ, one of the main players and part of the MORPHED Collective based in Linz, Austria. Ever since the collective's beginnings at Lederfabrik they've organised Club Sessions with locals and international artists at various locations and - on a regular basis - at Stadtwerkstatt.
This year sees the 20th anniversary of ‘The Razors Edge’, a well known Drum & Bass track that was Originally released in 1994 on the Skeleton Recordings label (SKEL012), this track used to be a regular in the record box of LTJ Bukem and still to this day is quite a sought after piece of vinyl.
For almost a decade now, any loud, crystal clear, non-custom sound system worth its salt has been comprised of the UK made Funktion-One cabinets. Whether at a club or festival, Funktion-One have been the go to company for clarity and loudness in any environment. This may all be about to change though, as Bowers & Wilkins prepare to unveil their new Sound System specifically designed for the large scale festival and possibly large club settings.
This weeks old skool archives goes back to 1994, with the first tune the Jungle legend Remarc ever produced, although some of his later tunes got releases before this came out! The tune in question is Sound Murderer, Released on White House Records, a label started by Paul Oakenfold in 1992.
